Workshop #1

Dan Mustain

Hello! I'm Pastor Dan Mustain with Deaf Heart Church in Sugar Land, TX. Our church is 3 years old and God is doing amazing things for His Glory!

My wife, Linda, and I have been married for 48 years. We have 3 adult children. All are married and we have 6 grandchildren.

God called us to minister to the Deaf in Bible College. In 1992, we began learning ASL. After I graduated, we served the Lord in the San Francisco Bay Area for 5 years. We moved back home to Houston when my mom became ill with Alzheimer's. We started a small Deaf church in Stafford, TX. Later the church merged with Woodhaven Baptist Deaf Church.

At Woodhaven, working with Pastor Arthur Craig, I was able to minister in prison and jail. I taught Bible studies and preached. My wife and I were involved in community outreach, discipleship, and Linda worked with the youth. We also enjoyed being a part of Woodhaven's wonderful Christmas dramas.

Linda and I love the Deaf, Deaf culture, ASL, Deaf ministry, and most of all, the Lord Jesus Christ. Our hearts' desire is to win Deaf souls and make Deaf disciples. Ephesians 3:20-21
